The Konopiste Castle you will visit first. Founded in the 14th century this lovely hunting castle lies approximately 45 km outside Prague. It is famous for its fascinating collection of historical weapons, furniture, tapestries and paintings. The Karlstejn Castle was built between 1348 to 1355 by Charles IV, King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor. The magnificent Karlstejn Castle served as a depository for the safekeeping of royal and Empire coronation jewels.
The Karlstejn and Konopiste castle tour is an ideal way to visit in one day these two unique gems among the Czech castles. Start time and length of tour – The Karlstejn and Konopiste Castle Tour is available only in the summer (from the start of April to the end of October) daily except Monday`s from 09.30am. The tour is closed on 24/12 and 1/1. It lasts 8.5 hours, including transportation time.
Price per person – Adults 2280 CZK, children up to 6 years old: 1610 CZK, students up to 26 years old: 2070 CZK.
Transfers and guide included – Yes, you will be picked up at your accommodation and dropped back to your accommodation, lunch is NOT included in the price.
