This Karlovy Vary spa tour on offer is an all-day excursion to the beautiful world-renowned town of Karlovy Vary. We offer the tour either using a smart phone app and an audio guide, or with an official tour guide in person. Karlovy Vary (also known by its German name of Carlsbad) is situated amid the picturesque mountains of West Bohemia. Karlovy Vary was founded in 1358 by King Charles IV. The city in time became famous throughout the world for its 12 medicinal mineral springs. Many celebrities such as Russian tsar Peter the Great and the famous poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe praised the curative effects of the town’s mineral springs. Also famous for the annual Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. This is attended by many internationally famous directors and film stars.
Smart phone app and an audio guide option – You will feel freedom using the app to walk along the enchanting historical colonnades of the beautiful old center. You will have the opportunity to taste the town’s famous mineral springs for yourself. This includes the largest and best known Vridlo (Giant Spring). It can spurt its healing waters to a height of almost 17 meters. In your 5.5 hours of free time you can enjoy a break for lunch, (it is not included in the price, you should pay this). The Karlovy Vary Spa Tour also provides the chance to admire locally manufactured Bohemian crystal. The tour with the smart phone app and an audio guide comes in a choice of 9 languages which are English, German, Czech, Spanish, French, Russian, Italian, Portuguese and Polish.
Official tour guide in person option – The tour is the same length of time, but in this offer you can have an expert official tour guide in person. You will have a chance to visit all the venues listed above in the app tour and we also include in this option ticket entry to the Diana funicular, which will transport you up to a watchtower overlooking the city, a butterfly house and the ZOO.
You will also have about 2.5 to 3 hours free times for shopping or lunch, the tour is offered in 4 languages, English, German, Spanish and Italian.

Start time and length of tour – The Karlovy Vary Spa Tour is available on Monday, Friday and Sunday at 08.45am, it lasts 9.5 hours, including transfers. It is closed on 24/12 and 1/1.
Price per person for smart phone app and an audio guide option – Adults: 1350 CZK, children from 3 to 10 years old: 1050 CZK, students up to 26 years old: 1350 CZK.
Price per person for Official tour guide in person option – Adults: 1900 CZK, , children from 3 to 10 years old: 1600 CZK, students up to 26 years old: 1800 CZK.
Transfers included – Yes in both options, but pickup is from Na Prikope street in Prague center and you will be dropped back also in the center of Prague at Na Florenci.
