The Cesky Krumlov UNESCO Tour is an all day 11 hour excursion to one of the most beautiful towns in the Czech Republic. Spectacularly situated on a meandering bend of the Vltava River and is near the river’s source of Lake Lipno in the Sumava Mountains of South Bohemia. Cesky Krumlov has been a protected UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage site since 1992. Founded in the 13th century, the historic center is a maze of small and narrow cobblestone lanes. It has hundreds of colorful, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque houses.
The tour starts from Prague center in Na Prikope street around 08.45am. From here you will be collected with the coach and guide and driven to Cesky Krumlov. You will visit the largest castle in the Czech Republic with superb baroque gardens along with the oldest baroque theater in the world with a unique revolving auditorium. In the winter the castle is closed, so the tour will visit the castle museum. In the summer the tour will visit the castle interior, royal gardens and courtyards. Note: entrance fee to the castle is not included.
The guide will take you among the winding lanes of the historic center with more than 300 historical buildings. There are also numerous medieval taverns and you will have a few hours free time if you wish to get lunch (not included in price). At the end you will be driven back to Prague and left off in the center of Prague at around 20.00pm. The tour comes in a choice of 4 languages which are English, German, Spanish and Italian.

Start time and length of tour – The Cesky Krumlov UNESCO Tour is available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 08.45am. In the winter from 1st November to 31st March the Castle is closed, also on dates 24/12 and 1/1, so it will not be part of the tour, you will visit the Castle museum instead. The tour in total lasts approximately 11 hours.
Note: entrance fee to the castle is not included and Lunch is not included in the price.
Price per person – Adults 1950 CZK, children from 3 to 10 years old: 1650 CZK, students up to 26 years old: 1850 CZK.
Transfers and guide included – Yes, but pickup is from Na Prikope street in Prague center and you will be dropped back also in the center of Prague.
