Czech Folklore New Years Eve Party

During New Years Eve in Prague we recommend our Czech Folklore New Years Eve Party. On the night of the dinner and show you will be picked up from your Prague accommodation with our coach and brought back at the end of the night. We will transport you a short drive through Prague and to the cute folklore restaurant in the Prague 5 area.

At the restaurant you will be greeted with a pre – dinner glass of honey wine. Then you will be settled to your table to enjoy an evening of food, drinking (unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks, juices and tap water). Through the evening you will be treated to folklore dancing, songs and games as well as drawing and serving of the wine using a special pipette, or in Czech called ‘Kostyr’ (a wine taster). The folklore show lasts 2.5 hours and after a DJ will play music until the end of the evening to keep the party going.

As midnight approaches you will count down to the New Year with a glass of bubbly champagne! Pre- midnight you will also receive traditional lentil salad with sausage and cucumber. The music and dancing will continue right up to near 01.00am when the evening ends. You will then be transported back to your Prague accommodation by private transport.

Welcome Drink: a pre-dinner glass of honey wine
Starter: homemade sticks with cheese.
Starter: light homemade cottage cheese spread with bread.
Soup: traditional potato soup with mushrooms.
Main Course: 3 kinds of meat, pork neck, smoked ham, chicken leg, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes and cabbage salad.
Note: on request for vegetarians we can replace the main course with grilled vegetables with two kinds of potatoes and cabbage salad.
Dessert: Ginger bread with chocolate and whipped cream.
Wine Tasting Show: drawing and serving wine using a special pipette, or in Czech called ‘Kostyr’ (a wine taster).
Unlimited Drinks including: (unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks, juices and tap water)
Pre midnight typical Czech traditional meal: grilled sausage and lentils and gherkin.
At 23:50pm-24.00pm is count down with a glass of bubbly to toast in the New Year.
Music show lasts till near 01:00am (the end of the evening).

Minimum group size – 2 people
Start time and length of evening – starts at 20.00pm and the full evening lasts 5 – 5.5 hours including transfer times. Pick-up times are around 19.00pm to 19.40pm depending on your accommodation location.
Price per person – 3790 CZK includes all listed above.
Children (0 – 2 years) price 500 CZK.
Children (3 – 12 years) price 1900 CZK.
