Inspiring, modern, honest and many other attributes come to mind when you taste the food from Mark Fichtner and his team. And it doesn’t matter if it’s perfectly grilled meat, modern Czech food at the Bank or one of Mark’s chef’s specialties from the a la carte menu. All steaks, vegetables and toasts are grilled on an inferno grill manufactured by the company grill works from Washington, D.C., to which we add only oak and beech wood from the Křivoklát forests.

Perfectly tapped Pilsner beer is a given for us. We only serve Pilsner Urquell from a unique three-story tank tower that carries the beer to four different taps throughout the restaurant. The taps are managed by Míra “Pantáta” Nekolný, a legend among Czech bartenders. Whoever tastes our beer will easily forget the hardships of everyday life.

And if you have a steak and wash it down with a perfectly treated beer, you can top it all off with the legendary sweet treat from our pastry chef Klárka Řezníčková, the queen of sugar and the manager of our pastry shop. Her pistachio profiteroles and beer cake are iconic desserts at Červený Jelen.
