Royal Golf Club Marianske Lazne (Marienbad)
The oldest golf course in the Czech Republic is Royal Golf Club Marianske Lazne (Marienbad) and in Europe. The course was founded and opened on August 21, 1905 by Edward VII the King of England. Then in 2003 the course was given the title “Royal” by Queen Elizabeth II. The course itself is an example of Scottish and Irish golf architecture from the end of the 19th century. Located in Western Bohemia on an upland plain 787 meters above sea level. The greens of the course are relatively small but well protected by bunkers.
Royal Golf Club Marianske Lazne (Marienbad) provides a real challenge for players of all categories. In recent years, the 5839 meter course has hosted major European amateur and professional tournaments. The participants are of some of the world’s top players, an attests to the quality of the course. We can arrange everything you will need including transport.
