GOLF RESORT CIHELNY

This is an 18 hole, par 70 championship course and is one of the best quality golf courses in the Czech Republic. It is situated in the picturesque valley of the Tepla River in a protected landscape area called Slavkovsky les, only 4 km from the city of Karlovy Vary in West Bohemia (approximately 2 hours by car from Prague). Projected by well-known Gary Player Design Company the natural features of the terrain have been utilised in the course design to create a beautiful and challenging course where the Tepla River and ample ponds come into play as water hazards.

The Golf Resort Cihelny also houses a complete training facility including an 18-hole, par 44 Honey Course (pitch and putt) and indoor driving range, pro shop and a comfortable cafeteria. Accommodation is also available at Astoria Golf Resort Cihelny at the nearby Royal Golf Hotel located next to the golf course. To attest to the courses quality, in 2003 the Astoria Golf Resort Cihelny hosted the European Boys Championship.
