GOLF RESORT HODKOVICKY

The club was founded in 1983, from the year 1996 it took over the golf area in Prague 4 - Hodkovickach, 1.5km from Barrandov Bridge and approx 20km from Prague centre. There is a 6 hole public course, driving range, 3 putting greens, chipping green. The new 9 hole course was just completed from the summer of 2005. As might be expected, due to its close proximity to the Vltava River, two holes incorporate the river on its flank as a horizontal water hazard, and additional water hazards come into play on four other holes making this a challenging course.

In 2008 the Golf and Country Club finished construction of a new clubhouse with modern facilities - changing rooms, showers, pro shop, indoor simulator 'About Golf', club rental, internet tee time booking and a restaurant with outdoor summer terrace. Easily accessible by car as well as by public transport, the Golf and Country Club is one of the most popular 9-hole courses in Prague. The Golf and Country Club also boasts to have the largest training area in the Czech Republic with a 66 hitting bay driving range, 3 putting greens and 2 chipping greens.
