PRAGUE GRAND CITY TOUR

The tour is a comprehensive, three-hour bus and walking tour which provides visitors with an in-depth look at the historical and architectural gem that is the city of Prague. The Prague Grand City Tour begins in Prague's so-called New Town area at the imposing National Museum towering high above at the top of Wenceslas Square before continuing on to show you the impressive architecture of the National Theatre situated on the banks of the Vltava River.

The tour bus then transports you across river to Prague's Lesser Town area, dominated by the green cupola of the magnificent, baroque Church of St. Nicholas before continuing on up to the Prague Castle district. Here the Prague Grand City Tour gets you out to stretch your legs with a walk through the majestic surroundings of the Prague Castle complex. The walking part of the tour through the Castle area lasts over an hour during which time you will also have the opportunity to see the world-famous St. Vitus' Cathedral.

After fully exploring the Castle district, the Prague Grand City Tour will return you across the river again to the Old Town area where you will visit the Jewish quarter, the only Central European Jewish town-quarter to survive the Holocaust. Next, the tour will show you the breathtaking beauty of Prague's world-renown Old Town Square and finally you will be taken to Wenceslas Square the place where many momentous occasions in Czech history have been played out and where the Prague Grand City tour ends.
