MEDIEVAL BREWERY TOUR IN PRAGUE

On the tour you will see more than just the beer making talent of the Czech nation on this tour, taste great Czech food and experience traditional music also. This micro brewery set in the centre of Prague dates back to 1499 and has a history of brewing beer for more than 500 years. The business was seized by the communists during the eastern block cold war years, but in 1991 it was given back to the original owners, the family by the name of Brtnik. The dark beer brewed here is famous in Prague and has a unique taste which compliments Czech food perfectly, our tour offers below will let you experience first hand the brew master`s skill and time put into this process.

Tour 1 - Medieval Brewery Tour in Prague with lunch and live music.

Available from 10am to 16.00pm, last lunch tour at 15.00pm, includes 3 course meal, brewery tour, video show, live music, souvenir beer glass and beer tasting, 2 beers each person and English speaking guide. The guide will meet you in the centre of Prague and walk you to the brewery, he / she will be with you as you will first watch the brewery tour video and sample a beer with the brew master, then onto the processing vaults where the brew master will show you the brewing process, the guide will translate all for you into English.

After the tour you will then settle down in a private area for your lunch, potato soup followed by beer goulash and dumplings, with dessert apple pie and all washed down with another creamy black beer, the brew master will visit you and present to you your souvenir beer glass. The local musicians will entertain you over the lunch, a great way to have lunch and take in some beer culture also, this menu might change a little from time to time.

Tour 2 - Medieval Brewery Tour in Prague with evening dinner and live music.

Available from 16.00pm to 23.00pm with the last tour at 19.00pm, it includes an aperitif, 3 course meal, coffee, brewery tour, video show, live music, souvenir beer glass and beer tasting 2 beers and an English and Czech speaking guide. The guide will meet you in the centre of Prague and walk you to the brewery, he or she will be with you as you will first watch the brewery tour video and sample a beer with the brew master, then onto the processing vaults where the brew master will show you the brewing process, the guide will translate all for you into English.

After the tour you will then settle down in a private area for your dinner, a welcome shot of becherovka or slivovice, Prague ham with vegetables starter followed by svickova (roast beef) with cream sauce and dumplings, with dessert of apple pie and a coffee and all washed down with another creamy black beer, the brew master will visit you and present to you your souvenir beer glass. The local musicians will entertain you over the dinner, this menu might change a little from time to time. Also in the summer you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere in the outside courtyard beer garden.
