The restaurant is a famous brewery in the centre of Prague is renowned throughout the world and is now known as one of Prague`s landmarks. Dating back as far as 1499, the brewery has been brewing beer for over 500 years and even survived the dark communist era, after the collapse of communism the restaurant and brewery were returned to the original Brtnik family owners. The restaurant is a maze of large lounges and each is individually decorated to create that medieval feel.

The U Fleku restaurant offers a real culinary experience of traditional Czech dishes, including a wide range of homemade soups, roast duck, and the very popular goulash a la Flek, made using the locally brewed beer, a delicious dish indeed. In the summer there is also a huge beer garden and including this space there is place for 1200 guests in total, the U Fleku restaurant and brewery are very popular for weddings and large company celebrations, but also the restaurant offers the individuals or couples a warm welcome.
