IRISH MUSIC FESTIVAL

The festival is now in more than 14 years since the beginning, celebrated in conjunction with St Patrick`s day it normally runs from about 15th March to 20th March, with various top bands from Ireland as well as local bands, all performing in Caffrey`s Irish Bar on the Old Town Square and in the James Joyce Irish Pub at address U Obecniho dvora 4, Prague 1.

The Irish Music Festival in Prague kicks off in Caffrey`s Irish Bar, address Staromestske namesti 10, Prague 1. The bar will host several bands over the music festival period, bands such as Celtic Whisper from Limerick come regularly, they are a very popular band and the organisers look forward to their return. Another band Station 65 from Kildare play modern Irish rock music with loads of energy, this band are growing is stature in homeland Ireland.
Solo artist and song writer, Dave Morrissey from Kildare a former North Star band member has also performed songs from his second album, top this with bands such as Bran from Prague with a mix of French v Ireland Celtic and Breton music and Dun an Doras, also a Prague based band, making normally a superb line up of artists.
